Geographic Bee Winners

Congratulations to our 2019 National Geographic Bee School Winner, 8th grader Taylor Wagner!

Second place went to 7th grader Carsen Edwards. Third place went to 6th grader Elijah Pounds. Additional school participants included Jacob Homberger, Nick Bettner, Addison Kornahrens, Thomas Moore, Nathan Wilson, Denver Wysocki, Sean Bratkowski.

One to two students were chosen from each academic team after participating in preliminary competitions in Individuals and Societies classes. The 10 finalists faced off against each other on January 30 in the school-level National Geographic Bee. It was a great competition and all finalists represented their academic teams well!  School winner Taylor Wagner completed an online qualification test this morning after the competition.  National Geographic will take the top 100 from the state of Colorado to participate in the State Level competition this March.
